After a triumphant first season, Phoenix returns to shake up the classical music world with its characteristic blend of virtuosity and verve. The second season of Phoenix kicks off with their premiere performance, on November 5th. The event will take place at Villa Victoria Center for the Arts in the South End at 7:30pm, and features music spanning nearly four centuries, from Couperin to Poulenc.  The centerpiece of the evening is a pairing of Piazzola and Vivaldi “Four Seasons” for orchestra—a musical mashup designed to shed new light on familiar favorites.
